Operational Standards & Legal Framework
At MVC Supply Chain Management, LLC, we believe transparency is the foundation of any successful haul. You'll find our freight liability and operational procedures outlined here to ensure a seamless partnership.
Effective Date: January 2024
Freight Liability & Cargo Insurance
When it comes to cargo protection, our standards are non-negotiable. Why would you settle for anything less than exhaustive coverage? MVC Supply Chain Management, LLC maintains comprehensive cargo insurance, yet it remains the shipper's responsibility to declare full value prior to transit.
Liability for loss or damage is strictly limited to the declared value on the Bill of Lading. We're committed to protecting your assets, but we don't assume responsibility for indirect or consequential damages arising from delays. Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery for internal review.
Payment Terms & Credit Policy
Consistency keeps the supply chain moving. All invoices are payable within 30 days unless otherwise negotiated in your master service agreement. Late payments are subject to a standard 1.5% monthly accrual fee. Don't let administrative hurdles slow down your shipments.
Operational Procedures
Our drivers are the backbone of our operation. To maintain safety, all loading must be performed in accordance with DOT regulations. MVC Supply Chain Management, LLC reserves the right to refuse any cargo that is improperly secured or poses a risk to our fleet. Have you verified your weight distribution today?
Dispute Resolution
Any disagreement regarding freight charges or service quality will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. We'll always seek mediation first to preserve our business partnership.
Force Majeure
We aren't liable for failures caused by acts of God, severe weather, or unexpected infrastructure failure. Our team will communicate immediately when disruptions occur.
